מצלמות הוידאו. מצלמת וידאו היא מצלמה שהשימוש שלה, בניגוד לסטילס, הינו צילום סרט רציף (= וידאו) בצורה אלקטרונית, בדומה לכך אך קצת אחרת, מצלמת קולנוע מצלמת תמונות על גבי סרט. מצלמת הווידאו פותחה במקור לשימוש של תעשיות הטלוויזיה והחדשות, אך כיום כמובן ישנם שימושים רבים לצילום הוידאו. עולם הוידאו מתקיים תחת שתי תכונות צילום עיקריות -הראשונה, צילום בשידור חי המשמש את שידורי הטלוויזיה החיה, בנוסף לכך גם את תעשיית האבטחה וכן גם לשימושים צבאיים. תכונה שנייה של הודיאו היא בהקלטה ושמירה (=אחסון) של הווידאו עבור צפייה בזמן אחר או לצורך עריכה מחדש.
